Let me ask you this, do you study to pass or do you study to learn?



I wanted to get good grades. I wanted to be on top. I wanted to aim high. Those were the words a student once said. But the problem is, s/he does not know how. 


It really gets frustrating especially if you really wanted to get that kind of goals because there are lots of factors that may affect that. For example, you are not a morning person (please read this if you are http://crmsnchrysnths.blogspot.ae/2017/01/my-routine-to-avoid-being-late-or.html), your body don't feel like it, etc,.

But let me help you by giving this simple tips that might change your life. This can be very simple but beneficial. 



n u m b e r o n e : GET GOOD QUALITY NOTEBOOKS AND PENS.

you may be thinking, how does that affect my studies? the reason behind that is this:  it will somehow motivate you to write notes because your notebook is cute and so is your pen.
this really works for me. i promise and swear by it.

Getting a good quality notebook also means that you should get a good quality planner, sticky notes - anything that you can write on with a good quality. Not too thin, smooth, thick, and when you write something it's shadow does not appear on the back (no traces of words) is the definition of good quality papers.

having good quality pieces of papers and pens will help you have this. purpose? this will help you motivate to write more, read your notes. hence, will motivate you to study (because studying means lots of reading and writing).

try using figures, frames, arrows, charts in writing notes. this will make your notes cuter and more pleasing to the eyes. 

i guarantee you that not only this will help you to motivate to study, this can also help you at being organize and clean which will lead us to our third step,


n u m b e r t h r e e : BEING ORGANIZE.

it sounds a lil bit normie but hey, it does works! being organize means a lot. it does not mean that you should make all things symmetrical and balance. it only means that you should make your things more accessible and easy to find in a neat way.

trust me, i am a messy person myself and i've learned this trick after six years of hearing it. stubborn, right?

so yeah, i suggest that you should get clear books, folders, shelves and name it like for example: this clear book is for all of my written outputs, another section is for my quizzes, etc. 

this trick help me in a way like for example
in school, you don't really have time to make your notes cute. so what i do is that i jot down notes on a pieces of pad paper and compile it on a folder and when i get home, that's the time i write those notes directly on my notebook. i have all the time i need so i can write legibly, nicely and cute. 


plus, this tip also helped me finding my written outputs easier and avoiding the i accidentally threw my assignment kind of accidents.

i honestly compile ALL of my written output thinking that just in case when the school required it for clearance.

being organize will also lead us to the forth step,

n u m b e r f o u r : TIDY YOUR PLACE.

a lot of times, people disregard in cleaning one's room because they thought that they don't have time for it or they are just being lazy. honestly, having a tidy and clean room can make a person's brain function well.

meaning, this trick will help you especially if you are reviewing for your exam or stuff like you need your brain to function really well. 

we all know that we need to make our body healthy so we take care of it, eat healthy foods and even invest expensive vitamins and body care products just to take care of our physical body. i'm not saying that we should stop that but i'm pointing out that we should also give attention to our mental needs.

going to school (or work) can breakdown a person's mental health because there are lots of stressors which is unavoidable. such as having to deal with hard people, hard subjects and stuff like that. having a clean and neat place when you get home after a tiring day can soothe and relax your mind.

having a tidy place starts small. first, to your study table. having an organized papers and school supplies. next, to your bed, moving to your closet, makeup cabinet, bath room, until it reaches to your whole house. 

there is nothing place like home so might as well make it clean and neat.


all of this steps can lead us to the most essential need of a student to get a better performance at school,


n u m b e r f i v e : GET MOTIVATED.

you see, there are lots of reasons for a person to be motivated and lots of ways on how to. the four given tips above are one of them. yes, they are simple. but simplicity works, sometimes, even better because it avoids complicated things. 

you can get motivated by having a healthy relationship with your family, friends and yourself. we all know what are things to make a healthy relationship to other people but do we know how to really take good care of ourselves? yes, it includes balance lifestyle like sleeping early and waking up early, balanced diet, balanced friends, healthy skin care routine (read if you want to know mine http://crmsnchrysnths.blogspot.ae/2016/07/my-skincare-routine-for-day-night.htmletc,. but it also includes: realistic goals for yourself. this will not make your hopes up high and end up crashing yourself on the ground. this will keep your feet on the ground meaning, will keep you connected. it will also make your decisions and thoughts more reasonable and rational.

you can get lots of motivation by reading good books. watching lives of other people prosper in a good way who started out small, talking to a friend. being motivated will also affect yourself by having a healthy mental, physical, emotional and spiritual body.

there is a word determination written behind the word motivation. if you surround yourself with positive vibes, you will surely get a positive outcome.
